Making a Difference

Every gift to the University of Sydney makes a difference.

Every day students overcome individual challenges to pursue their studies and research. They graduate from the University prepared to be, through the generosity of alumni and friends, global citizens and the leaders of tomorrow.

Alumni Scholarships were established this year for postgraduate research students.

Tobia Fattore is using his scholarship to pursue creative and innovative research into young people’s experience of paid and unpaid work. By understanding issues relating to inequality and cultural differences he wants to improve the livelihood, health and well being of all employed people.

Through additional gifts, the University will create many more Alumni Scholarships to provide more students with the advantages that Tobia is experiencing.
