Sydney Bioinformatics manages the Australian National Genomic Information Service, including the BioManager application.
ANGIS/BioManager closure
Further to the correspondence sent to the contact person for each BioManager account, Sydney Bioinformatics and the University of Sydney will cease to provide the ANGIS/BioManager service from November 30, 2009.

Grants
ANGIS is supported by the following current grants:
- An Australian Research Council LIEF grant currently being used to support an upgrade of the hardware and software used to support BioManager
- A Clive and Vera Ramaciotti Foundation award currently being used to support and upgrade of the BLAST software
ANGIS has previously received several grants from the Australian Research Council and the National Health and Medical Research Council.

- ANGIS is the Australian node of EMBnet, a collaboration of bioinformatics institutes and resources based in Europe.
- ANGIS is a member of the Asia-Pacific Bioinformatics Network (APBioNet).
