Angeline Farmer

Angeline Farmer has been with Sydnovate since 2002 covering a number of areas, including the negotiation and administering of agreements for research, consulting, scholarships and CRCs.

Prior to this, during twelve years at University of Technology, Sydney, as inaugural Director of the Research Office, Angeline was responsible for setting up processes and procedures relating to the administering of research in an institution where such procedures had not previously existed. She was accountable for all aspects of research including all negotiations with industry, development of strategic partnerships, negotiation of royalty payments, licensing and commercial agreements, including the buyout of a spin-off company.

Angeline undertook development and management of successful CRCs (including Board Membership, Membership of Commercialisation Committees, Financial and Management reporting, etc). In addition she provided advice to the Vice-Chancellor on all matters relating to research including provision of submissions to external bodies as required.

Her other experience includes development of large scale applications to NHMRC, ARC, GRDC etc; consulting to external organizations such as ANSTO CSIRO, and other Universities; membership of State Government Committees, AVCC, Management Committee of Australian Technology Park; and NSW Vice Chancellor's Committee representative on working parties.

Prior to her time at UTS, Angeline spent eight years at the University of Melbourne, firstly as Executive Officer to the Accountant and then as part of the newly created Office for Research.
