Dr Kailing Wang

Kailing Wang obtained her PhD in biochemistry at the University of Sydney in 1997. She had worked on various research and development projects in universities, research institutions and commercial companies. She has over 10 years of research experience in the fields of protein biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology and virology.

Prior to joining the University of Sydney in 2006, Kailing was Executive Vice President, Chief Scientific Officer at Life Therapeutics where she was responsible for development and commercialisation of a patented separation technology into viable commercial products.

Her commercial experience includes developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies for high value technology-based products and contract service, business operation management, technology licensing and IP management.

Kailing is currently the contact within Sydnovate for researchers in the Faculty of Medicine.
