Zachary King

Zachary joined Sydnovate as a Business Development manager in 2009. Immediately prior to joining Sydnovate Zachary was in the commercial team at IMBcom, the commercialisation arm for the Institute for Molecular Bioscience at the University of Queensland. He has a multi-faceted background with scientific and commercial experience in the UK, Canada and Australia and is experienced in commercial intelligence, investment due diligence, market research and analysis for projects at all stages of the developmental pipeline, structuring and negotiation of licensing agreements, joint venture collaborations and contract research agreements. He has a strong history in relationship building and client facing roles in a wide range of industries including health, mining, hospitality management, logistics and biotechnology.

Zachary completed his Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology from the University of Queensland and later returned to obtain his Masters of Technology Management in Biotechnology. He also has an executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
