The University of Sydney provides a range of research and other professional services to industry and government and unique opportunities for these partners to access novel University of Sydney technologies. By facilitating access by government and industry to the academic expertise of the broader University of Sydney community and University of Sydney technologies, Sydnovate is the important link between the University of Sydney and its commercial partners.
Sydnovate enters into agreements on behalf of the University for the provision of services by the University and the licensing of University of Sydney technologies. Sydnovate is responsible for negotiating and managing these agreements.
Sydnovate has a series of user-friendly standard agreements, incorporating the University’s preferred terms and conditions, that have been designed to facilitate and expedite the process of negotiating agreements with the University’s commercial partners. Sydnovate strongly prefers to use its standard agreements in negotiations.
