New look for the main University website

After a major upgrade to the layout and navigation of the University home page and corporate website last year, we have continued to improve the site by engaging our new preferred supplier to raise the production values of the visual design.

We've developed a minor facelift for the home and landing pages, which preserves the current layout and links.

Only the University home page and sections of the main website will change. Faculty, department and administrative sites will not be affected. A second phase of the project is underway to develop a new faculty/department home page template, and roll out a new CMS page template.

The look of the page and the underlying HTML will change - all the current links, general layout and content will remain the same. The new pages will use latest-generation coding and will further comply with technical and accessibility standards.

The new look will be applied in mid to late June 2007.
